I love to take notes.
It's kinda crazy that we have powerful note-taking apps — Notion, Obsidian, and a bunch more. But to actually get results from them, you need to build your own system and have the discipline to stick with it.
If that's the case, someone out there must have cracked this problem already, right?
The answer is... maybe?
In my experience with logging apps, they always seem to focus on the wrong things. They feel sluggish. They come bundled with a thousand features I'll never use. They have subscription plans quietly draining my wallet every month.
I just want to easily log my pet — and know that it's there. I don't need charts. I don't need integrations with seventeen other services.
That's the premise of Rakuppi.
A tool built to be used by a real person.
I want to build something reliable. Something I reach for every day — not just when I remember it exists.
That's also why at Rakuppi, there's no database on our end. All data you create lives only in your own browser or your own Google Drive.
⚡ Lightning-fast logging
No round trips to a server. It's instant because it's local.
🔒 Actual privacy
I genuinely cannot see your data. At all.
Built by someone who uses it daily.
I personally use every Rakuppi product every single day. I've been using PetLogs daily for 3 months and counting. This isn't a "launch and forget" project for me.
The idea I want to hold onto is: if it's good enough for me, maybe someone out there has the exact same pain points.
All of our products are heavily opinionated. But I'd genuinely love to hear your ideas — if you can think of a better way to do something, I'm all ears.
It's been a real joy to build and to use. I hope you'll enjoy it too. ✨
